Hmm... I did not hate it. I quite liked it actually. I was very bothered by the Deppy and HBC-y singing of breathiness, but then I started seeing them as existing in a little world separate from the rest of the cast. A world of super-pretty, of the crazy, of sub-par muttering/singing - it kind of started to work for me.
